GTMDot ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Jesse Altman, based in DeKalb County, Georgia. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using gtmdot.com or submitting a form, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you fill out our contact, preview request, or checkout forms, we collect:

Business name, your name, email address, phone number, and business information
Payment information (processed by Stripe; GTMDot does not store card data)
Current website URL (optional)
Business type / service category

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit gtmdot.com, we automatically collect:

IP address and approximate geographic location
Browser type and version
Device type and operating system
Pages visited and time spent
Referring URL

This data is collected via Cloudflare (our hosting provider) and, if enabled, Google Analytics 4. We also collect email communication data (opens and clicks) via Resend, and track direct mail responses through QR code scans linked to unique codes.

1.3 Business Research & Prospecting

We identify prospective clients through publicly available business directories and referrals. As part of building your preview website, GTMDot may use publicly available information about your business, including:

Business name, address, phone number, and hours as listed on public directories
Customer reviews and ratings published on Google, Yelp, and similar review platforms
Service descriptions, photos, and business details published on your existing website or public business profiles
Business category, service area, and other information you have made publicly available online

This information is used solely to build your preview site and to personalize our outreach. We do not sell this information or share it with third parties for any purpose unrelated to your engagement. If you would like us to remove your information from our systems, contact hello@gtmdot.com.

2. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the site. Cookie consent is managed via CookieYes — you can adjust your preferences at any time using the cookie banner.

5. Data Retention

We retain your contact form submissions and project information for as long as our business relationship is active and for up to 3 years thereafter for legal and billing purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
Deletion: Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Data portability: Request your data in a portable format.

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption, Cloudflare security, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email.
