GTMDot (operated by Jesse Altman, DeKalb County, Georgia) respects the privacy of the businesses and individuals we reach out to. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information — including how we identify businesses for our outreach program.

How We Identify Your Business

If you received a postcard or preview site from us, here's how we found you.

GTMDot identifies local service businesses using publicly available information. We do not purchase private consumer data or use tracking technology to identify individuals. Our research process includes:

Google Business Profile (GBP): Publicly listed business name, phone number, address, service category, and customer reviews available on Google Maps.
Review platforms: Publicly available ratings and reviews on Yelp, Nextdoor, Facebook, HomeAdvisor, and similar platforms.
Public business registries: State business entity filings (e.g., Georgia Secretary of State) for business name and registered agent information.
Public-facing social media: Business Facebook pages, Instagram profiles, and similar publicly accessible profiles.
Direct mail data: Business name and mailing address sourced from publicly available records or licensed B2B address lists for postcard delivery.

We use this information to build a preview website demonstrating what your business's online presence could look like. The preview site is created speculatively — it is not live on the public internet and is only shared directly with you.

What We Do With Your Information

We use publicly available business information solely to:

Build a personalized preview website for your business
Contact you about our services via direct mail or the contact information listed on your public business profile
Improve our service and understand local business needs

We do not sell, rent, or share your business information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information You Provide to Us

If you contact us, fill out our request form, or become a client, we collect:

Your name, business name, phone number, and email address
Business details you provide (services, service area, photos, etc.)
Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — GTMDot does not store payment card data)

How We Protect Your Information

Client data is stored securely and accessed only by GTMDot team members who need it to deliver the Services. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on all GTMDot web properties.

Your Rights

You may request at any time:

A copy of any personal or business information we hold about you
Correction of inaccurate information
Deletion of your information from our systems
To be removed from any future outreach

Preview Sites

Preview sites are built using publicly available information and are hosted on a private, non-indexed URL. They are shared only with the business owner they were built for. Preview sites are not published to search engines and are not accessible to the general public.

If you would like your preview site removed, contact us and we will take it down within 24 hours.

Cookies & Analytics

GTMDot.com uses basic analytics to understand site traffic. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking. We do not share analytics data with third parties.

Third-Party Services

GTMDot uses the following third-party services to operate:

Stripe — payment processing (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy)
Cloudflare — hosting and CDN (governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy)
Google Fonts — typography (governed by Google's Privacy Policy)
